Women's Gathering
Every month, our Sisters gather as women who
love the Lord in an atmosphere of praise and worship ever-mindful that
the true purpose of the gathering is to renew, revive, and refresh the
spirit, through teaching, preaching, fellowship and a study of “Women
of the Bible.”

The Healing of Tamar
The Healing of Tamar is devoted to
ministering to women who have been victims of abuse. Tamar was a
beautiful woman who was raped by her half-brother. She was ashamed of
what happened, blamed herself, and lived the rest of her life in
desolation. 
Tamar’s story is a tragic reminder that dreadful things
happen to Godly people. The Healing of Tamar is a gathering of women
who are willing vessels used by God to set the atmosphere for emotional, spiritual, mental, and physical healing that Tamar never experienced brought on by mental, verbal, physical, sexual, and/or self abuse. In order to maintain the anonymity of the members of the ministry those seeking to join, please contact the church office.
During the month of October, Sisters in the Spirit sponsor several events focusing on testimony, information, and fund raising in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness.
